About us

Over 25 potters local to the Stamford and East Midlands area come together for this annual two-day event to share their passion for ceramics and to display their work in the beautiful Georgian Ballroom at the Stamford Arts Centre.
Beneath the sparkling chandeliers you will find work showcasing different techniques such as throwing, slab building, coiling and sculpting, and using different clays, glazes and firing techniques. There will be something for everyone - from beautiful domestic ware to quirky ornaments, vases and garden sculptures, beads and tiles, all handmade by professional potters and keen amateur ceramists.
There is also the chance to sit and watch one of the ceramic themed films which run throughout the show or try the 'potluck' charity tombola in aid of Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice where you are guaranted to win one of the planters made and donated by our participating potters.
